Students of the ADV-Böblingen as guests at crossbase

Böblingen, 04-20-2018: Last Friday, the basic class of the 3BKInf of the Akademie für Datenverarbeitung (ADV) visited the long-standing partner company crossbase in the software center in Böblingen. There they gained an exciting insight into the activities in the company. The company's own software solution was presented by former ADV trainees, who were also able to report in detail on their different fields of activity.

The students, who already had previous knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and web programming from their lessons, were able to vividly see how elaborate company catalogs and web interfaces are created at crossbase. Finally, they had the opportunity to try out the "crossbase flight simulator".

For the current basic level, the insight into the activities of the partner companies is also interesting because the selection for your own internship company is made in the following month. In August 2018, the one-year internship will start, which can be completed, for example, at crossbase in the field of software development or consulting/support.

crossbase and ADV are connected by a close partnership. Apart from a training methodology which has been developed over many years, crossbase offers ADV students the possibility of a subsequent working student contract or a subsequent permanent employment. Since 2001, crossbase has successfully trained more than 30 students of the ADV and is proud of the results: about 20 graduates are permanently employed, three of them as team leaders. The duration of the internship is 12 months at 40 hours per week and 30 days of vacation. crossbase is continuously looking for interns and graduates in the fields of software development and application consulting and is looking forward to receiving applications for these positions.
