As the product portfolio grew and the company’s focus aligned more closely with international markets, the demands on managing and communicating product information also increased. While all data was initially maintained manually and in a decentralized manner, the company eventually reached the limits of its efficiency: Product information was scattered across various systems, technical specifications had to be prepared individually for each communication channel, and updating product images and certificates was a time-consuming process.

The turning point came with the decision to adopt crossbase. The implementation marked a paradigm shift for i.safe MOBILE. From then on, all product data, technical specifications, certifications, images, and documents could be maintained and managed centrally—a decisive step toward greater efficiency and transparency.

The direct integration with the ERP system and CRM systems created a seamless data flow from product development through to marketing. Today, all relevant information is delivered in real time to the website and other output channels via the REST API. The result: consistent, error-free product information, whether in the online shop, the print catalog, or international sales materials.

A particular highlight is the centralized media asset management (MAM) system. Product images, certificates, and user manuals are organized in the MAM, automatically converted into the appropriate formats, and directly linked to the corresponding products. This allows new products and updates to be published significantly faster and more efficiently.
